What a pretty star cookie! Just in time for Christmas.
Almond is one of my favorite flavors. And what a lovely cookie!
These look very much like a cookie I more or less invented. I followed a ginger bread recipe (no eggs) but substituted cornsyrup for molasses. They rose higher than gingerbread, and the dough was lighter and lightly spicy. The finished product looked just like yours.
OOoooooo! I’m going to have to get my nephew to bake me up a batch, sugar-free!
Zimtsterne for me are a must-eat. I can’t wait for next Christmas to arrive so I can eat them again and again. Yummy!
