Wiener Schnitzel is easy to come by in Austria. Really good Wiener Schnitzel is harder. Restaurants like to deep fry, use frozen, prepared portions, and reheat when necessary. Fast food establishments add French Fries with mayonnaise, not the best example of judicious use of the four food groups.

Making Wiener Schnitzel at home, on the other hand, lets you use the best ingredients and control the outcome. For a restaurant-like presentation, Wiener Schnitzel is one of the easiest entrées to pull off. Make sure your other dishes are ready to go before you cook the schnitzel, then dinner can be on the table in 15 minutes.

Just for you, I have written a Wiener Schnitzel Recipe with complete cooking instructions.
